Dalhousie-khajjiar trip

Dhauladar range in himachal pradesh is the home to many beautiful places and Dalhousie is one of them a small hill station established in 1854 by British Empire.
Dalhousie is situated approximately 2,100 Meters above the sea level,spread over an area of 14 sq km,Dalhousie is built on five hills.
Surrounded by the snow-caped peak,thick green cover of forest,refreshing ambience,nature's blessed surrounding
makes dalhousie a perfect place where one can relax,retreat himself physically and mentally.sound of wind passing through the forest,hide-and-seek of sun and magnificent snow-capped hills.
Its many times have seen the sun going ascent and descent,whistles of wind as it passes through the tree-this is perfect place to experience and feel all of this.
Putting the eyes on its spectacular nature is in itself.



Also give you a feel of scottish and Victorian architecture in its building and church ( st. Francis's church and St. John's church) gives you a wonderful experience.
Gandhi chowk is the centre of activities,shopping and restaurant along with this its a starting point of most treks.


Garam Sadak is one of the most pleasant areas in Dalhousie, which gets hot during daytime as it receives direct sunlight. This road joins two of the most popular chowks in Dalhousie- Gandhi and Subhash Chowks and a lot of people come here for a quick nature walk.


Khajjiar
Khajjiar,a distance of 24km from dalhousie also known by the name of mini-swizerland is a flat lush 'green meadow' with saucer shape water body in the middle,tall deodar trees flanked all around,its simply spellbinding for the nature lover but in winder a white carpet spread all around till your last view point.khajjiar is something for everyone having adventures activities like paragliding,zorbing,horse riding with spectacular scenery.
